1. Overview of Service
PicPal allows users to create event pages, generate custom QR codes, and collect guest-submitted photos during events such as weddings, parties, or corporate gatherings. These photos are stored securely and made accessible to the event host and PicPal support staff.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use this service. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
Users may sign up using social media or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
4. Event and Content Guidelines
You are solely responsible for the content uploaded to your event page, including photos and event descriptions. You agree not to upload or solicit the upload of content that is:
Offensive, illegal, or harmful
Infringing on intellectual property rights
Personal or private content shared without consent
PicPal reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
5. Data Storage and Access
All uploaded photos are stored securely on Amazon S3 servers. Only the event host and authorized PicPal support staff may access the content, unless otherwise specified by the user.
6. Intellectual Property
All website content, designs, logos, and systems are the intellectual property of PicPal. Users retain ownership of photos they or their guests upload but grant PicPal a limited, non-exclusive license to host and display content for the purpose of providing support and delivering the service.
7. Service Availability
While we aim for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates from time to time, and you acknowledge potential temporary unavailability.
8. Pricing and Payment
Users select from available pricing packages before creating an event. All payments must be completed at the time of purchase via our secure payment processor.
9. Refunds
We offer refunds at our sole discretion, limited to the amount you paid for the service. No further claims, including indirect or consequential damages, will be entertained.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PicPal’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the service is strictly limited to a refund of the amount paid. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, or reputational harm.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that could harm PicPal or its users.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
